Nobody Loves You
Written with Itamar Moses (THE BAND'S VISIT), this musical comedy premiered at The Old Globe in San Diego and Off-Broadway at Second Stage, where it was both a New York Times and Timeout New York Critics' Pick.
When Jeff, a philosophy grad student, joins a reality dating show to win back his ex, he breaks all the rules and tries to blow the game wide open until he meets the show's assistant producer, Jenny. In a world where every kiss is staged for the cameras, can two people find a real connection?
With just nine members and dwindling funds, the Cuyahoga High Marching Beavers are close to extinction. When a troubled athlete is relegated to their ranks, Elliott, the tuba-playing band captain and Laura, his best friend, must find a way to unite the band, embrace their inner geek and save the Marching Beavers.
A favorite of regional theaters, high schools and colleges, BAND GEEKS premiered at Goodspeed musicals and is licensed by Music Theatre International. It features the popular audition song "Lost In The Brass", sung on the cast album by Lindsay Mendez.
